Eligibility Criteria and Documents required for startup registration

“Startup” means an enterprise that meets the following criteria

1. Enterprise Age The period of existence and operations should not be exceeding 10 years from the date of incorporation or as defined by DPIIT from time-to-time

2. Annual Turnover Should have an annual turnover not exceeding Rs. 100 Crore for any of the financial years since its incorporation or as defined by DPIIT from time to time.

3. Original Entity The entity should not have been formed by splitting up or reconstructing an already existing business.

Proof of documents to be enclosed for registration as a Startup or Rural Startup in the iStart Programme

Nature of the Entity Proof of Business Incorporation Additional Proof Establishing Operations in Rajasthan
* In case the firm’s registration address is outside of Rajasthan.
Sole Proprietorship Firm

• Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN) / Business Registration Number (BRN) issued by the Govt of Rajasthan or;
• Udyog Aadhaar / Udyam Registration Certificate / MSME Certificate issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, GoI or;
• GST Certificate

• Sanstha Aadhaar Number (SAN) / Business Registration Number (BRN) issued by the Govt of Rajasthan or;
• Udyog Aadhaar / Udyam Registration Certificate / MSME Certificate issued by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, GoI with Rajasthan Address.

* Any one document of the above issued by Govt. of Rajasthan

Partnership Firm

• Registered Partnership Deed or;
• Partnership Registration Certificate

LLP(Limited Liability Partnership) Certificate of Incorporation (Form 16) issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GoI
Private Limited Company Certificate of Incorporation issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, GoI

Student Startup / Rural Startup
Any Individual or group of people having a business idea to develop a product or service with market fit, viable commercialization, and scope of scaling but do not have a legal business entity as per guidelines of DPIIT.
