Rajasthan Startup Policy 2015 is an outcome of demand of “ease of doing business” for new startup ventures. The objective of this startup policy is to lead a change by shifting working youth from service industry and help them to build their own ventures.

Sustenance Allowance

Under the provisions of Rajasthan Startup Policy 2015, the Government of Rajasthan extends a grant of INR 10,000/- per month for one year as Sustenance Allowance to the eligible startups at Idea/Prototype stage (post approval by the Committee and Nodal Institution). Sustenance allowance is extended to eligible startups at Idea/Prototype stage only.

Seed Funding

In order to support startups at Idea/Prototype stage, the GoR under the policy provisions provides seed funding support to the startups of iStart Rajasthan. Seed funding is expected to be used by startups to mature their product/ services to Idea/Prototype stage and develop the startups for subsequent round of support and funding.

Application Procedure: The eligible startup can apply for sustenance allowance / seed funding and subject to completion and correction of the application, the startup would be invited to present its idea/ project before the evaluation committee. Subject to evaluation committee’s approval, the nodal institute will approve / reject and disburse the funds in stipulated time.
